We are pleased to announce that WebFuel is now a Trusted Google Partner. This upgrades our Google credentials from the Google AdWords Certified Partners Status via the Google Certification Program (which replaced the Google Advertising Professionals qualifications).
WebFuel was the first Ottawa-based agency to achieve Partner Status from Google (as well one of few agencies in Canada) back in January 2011.
Google recently changed their AdWords Certification Program, requiring all agencies to have a Google Partners account to be certified by Google. The old “AdWords Certified Partner” program and promotional badge was retired on November 13, 2013.
As a full service Search Results Agency, we pride ourselves in staying on top of search – including paid search. Therefore, it was important for us to achieve the new Google Partner status.
Google Partners – What is it?
For those of you who aren’t sure what that means, Google Partners is a globally recognized certification program for AdWords, operated by Google. Partner status is awarded to certified agency partners that provide digital advertising – and meet new the eligibility criteria.

How Can You Verify Google Partner Status?
Google provides certified partners with a badge to publish on their website. This clickable badge links to a Google Partners profile page to show prospective clients that the agency is an authentic and trusted Google Partner. In addition, authentication can also be done via Google Partner Search page.
